Diploma in Musical Theatre
Do You Dream of a Life in the Performing Arts Industry?
This fabulous, full time, 2 year, NZQA accredited programme is for students who are advanced in one or more of the performing arts disciplines and who display the characteristics and potential to pursue a career on stage as a performer or in its related industries.

Certificate in Preparatory Dance
Do You Have a Passion for Performance and a Desire to Develop your Skills?
This comprehensive, one year, NZQA accredited programme is perfect for those without extensive training but who have a strong passion for performance. The certificate is a great stepping stone year to develop the skills, technique and strength needed before going onto further full time training. Highly recommended for those without advanced level training who wish to go on to do the Diploma course.

Teacher Training Programme
Do you wish to pursue a career as a Dance Teacher or further your Teaching Skills?
The one year, module based programme offers training in core teaching subjects as well as dance specific disciplines. With an emphasis on practical application of syllabi and teaching knowledge, this course fully prepares students to become teachers in their chosen areas. The Apollo Theatre School recognises the need for quality training and aims to become internationally recognised as a producer of musical theatre artists, performers and dance teachers.
A unique approach of the school is to offer individually tailored timetables which cater to a range of abilities and skill levels in a variety of subjects and enables students to maximise their potential. A key focus is to support students in their performance goals, the audition process and the pursuit of professional opportunities.
